Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This policy explains how Connect Care collects and uses information for accounts, listings, profiles, messaging, notifications, and platform operations.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as name, email, phone, role, account status, and subscription status.

Family listings and caregiver profiles may include location, language, experience, schedule, budget, care needs, and related details.

2. How information is used

We use information to operate accounts, onboarding, listings, profile search, messaging access, notifications, support, security, and abuse prevention.

3. Contact and address privacy

Full street addresses, phone numbers, and emails are not automatically shown in public views. Users may voluntarily share contact details inside conversations.

4. Third-party services

We use providers such as Vercel, MongoDB Atlas, Cloudflare Images, Stripe, Brevo, and Google services for hosting, storage, images, payments, email, login, address search, analytics, and security. Each provider processes data under its own terms and our service arrangements.

Stripe processes complete payment-card details. Connect Care receives transaction information such as payment status, product, amount, and customer or subscription identifiers.

Connect Care does not currently share sensitive information for background checks.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain data while an account is active and as needed for service delivery. On deletion, we remove or de-identify public profiles, detailed addresses, and Cloudflare profile images. Email delivery logs generally expire after 30 days. Billing, security, report, and dispute records may be retained only as required by law or legitimate operational needs.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or limits on certain processing. Submit a request through the Help Center. We may need to verify your identity and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

7. Care-recipient and health-related information

Listings may include sensitive care needs such as mobility, medication reminders, or cognitive support. The person creating a listing must be authorized to provide the information and should provide only what is needed for matching.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, insurance identifiers, original medical records, or other information that is unnecessary for matching.

8. Children

Accounts are limited to users who are at least 18 years old. Adults may provide limited information about a child for care matching, but should provide only what is necessary.

9. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies for login, security, core features, and service analytics. When non-essential analytics or marketing technologies are used, available preference controls can be used to change those choices.

10. Changes and contact

Submit privacy questions or requests through the Help Center. We will provide notice through the service or account contact information before material changes take effect.
