Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Connect Care collects and uses information for account creation, authentication, matching requests, platform review, and service notifications.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as name, email, phone number, role, login provider, and account status.
We may collect family and care recipient information such as relationship, date of birth, language, location, general care needs, schedule, budget, and notes submitted for matching.
We may collect caregiver profile information such as experience, training, credentials, languages, service areas, availability, payment methods, and administrator review status.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to create accounts, authenticate users, operate referral and matching workflows, review profiles, process requests, send service notifications, reduce misuse, and administer the platform.
We may use Brevo or another email provider to send transactional messages such as account, review, approval, and matching notifications.
3. Sharing
We may share relevant request and profile details between families, caregivers, administrators, and service providers that help operate the platform.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling user lists for money. If advertising, analytics, or data sharing practices change, this policy should be updated before launch.
4. Sensitive Information
Users should submit only information needed for referral and matching. Do not upload government IDs, financial account numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive documents through the platform.
If Connect Care later decides to collect more sensitive categories of information, the product, security controls, consent flow, retention rules, and legal notices should be updated before launch.
5. Security and Retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We keep information as long as reasonably needed for account operation, referral and matching workflows, compliance, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations.
6. California and Other Privacy Rights
Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information about certain data practices.
California and other state privacy laws may require additional notices, request workflows, appeal processes, and opt-out mechanisms if Connect Care meets statutory thresholds or uses certain advertising and analytics tools.
7. Contact
Privacy requests can be directed to the contact email designated by Connect Care in the product or related notices.
