Terms of Service

Last updated: May 26, 2026

Connect Care is a referral and matching platform, not a caregiver agency, home care organization, medical provider, employer, or emergency service.

1. Platform Role

Connect Care provides technology that lets families and caregivers create profiles, submit requests, compare information, and request connections.

Connect Care does not provide care services, assign caregivers, employ caregivers, supervise caregiver work, control schedules, direct day-to-day duties, or manage the relationship between a family and a caregiver.

Families and caregivers are responsible for deciding whether to contact, meet, hire, contract with, pay, continue with, or stop working with each other.

2. Accounts and User Information

Users must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure. Users may not impersonate another person, create misleading profiles, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

Caregivers are responsible for providing truthful information about experience, training, credentials, languages, location, availability, services, and payment methods.

Families are responsible for providing truthful request information and for confirming whether a caregiver is appropriate for their care recipient's needs.

3. Admin Review

Connect Care may review, approve, reject, suspend, or remove profiles, requests, and connections to operate the platform and reduce misuse.

Admin review is a platform moderation step only. It is not an endorsement, guarantee, employment decision, professional evaluation, or confirmation that a user is suitable for a particular family, caregiver, service, or jurisdiction.

4. No Emergency, Medical, or Professional Advice

Connect Care is not for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911 or the applicable local emergency number.

Content on the platform is informational and does not replace advice from licensed medical, legal, tax, insurance, or employment professionals.

5. Fees and Payment Responsibility

Connect Care may charge platform, referral, listing, subscription, or connection fees as disclosed in the product or a separate written agreement.

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, families and caregivers are responsible for negotiating and handling service payments, taxes, reporting, insurance, wage and hour obligations, and other compliance obligations between themselves.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not harass others, discriminate unlawfully, submit false information, bypass platform rules, scrape data, upload malware, request illegal services, or use Connect Care for unlawful activity.

Connect Care may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create fraud, privacy, compliance, or user protection concerns.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Connect Care is not liable for user-provided services, user conduct, hiring decisions, payment disputes, tax obligations, injury, loss, or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from platform use.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to every user.
